From a jaw-dropping floral chandelier suspended high above the dance floor, to a pair of bridal Louboutins that we’re still seeing sparkles over, Beth and Chris had one of the most stunning weddings we’ve ever seen. Weddings By Dzign, then, was so honored to be chosen as the event coordinator and designer for this unforgettable Westin Las Vegas wedding.
They say rain is good luck on your wedding day—and the skies offered Beth and Chris a ton of good fortune on their Big Day. While their ceremony was supposed to held outside at the Gazebo, we ended up moving it indoors at the last minute due to the stormy weather. What was so great to see, though, was how supportive of each other Beth and Chris were throughout the stress that can often come along with last-minute event changes and less-than-ideal weather. Plus, the grey skies ended up making for stunning photographs once the clouds parted—allowing for unforgettable photo-ops against a saturated Las Vegas sunset.
We ended up bringing lots of strategic design details indoors to help soften up the space and ensure Beth and Chris’ day was as perfect as they’d planned. We lined the aisle with live candles, and Linen By Dzign set up in a super romantic white chiffon-draped backdrop, which really helped to define the altar space.
Beth wanted a classic, timeless and romantic aesthetic—with pops of navy throughout and lots of sparkle. To help bring this vision to life for her Westin Las Vegas wedding, Floral By Dzign created tight, focused bridesmaid bouquets using ivory roses and hydrangeas with pops of white anemones. The deep navy center on the anemones ended up playing perfectly against the bridesmaids’ stunning navy gowns.
Beth’s bouquet was simple and chic—and consisted of all-white roses and hydrangeas. She looked absolutely stunning carrying it down the aisle in her breathtaking Lazaro couture gown and sparkling red-soled Louboutins. It truly was one of the most all-around romantic looks we’ve ever seen a bride wear.
Guests then moved to the reception, where we’d set up a custom step-and-repeat photo-op in place of a traditional photo booth. The step-and-repeat boasted the couple’s names and wedding date, which was such a fun design detail, and guests had a blast snapping photos in front of it all night long.
For seating, we provided our fan-favorite silver chivari chairs with sheer navy sashes. Tables were draped in a simple taupe linen with a sheer organza sparkle overlay over—a combo that really added that touch of sparkle Beth was looking for. For centerpieces, our floral team submerged white dendrobium orchids inside of 16” tall glass cylinder vases and topped each with ivory hydrangea, roses, spray roses, anemones, orchids and dusty miller. The height of the centerpieces really added some serious depth and dimension to the space.
The real reception show-stopper, though, was the dance-floor ceiling draping and white dendrobium floral chandelier we custom crafted. It was one of our favorite dance-floor looks to-date, and created a space that was dripping in romance. “I absolutely loved the way the floral chandelier turned out,” Beth said. “It was a gorgeous focal point above the dance floor to add to our perfect evening.”
